The Coastal Arts Center in Orange Beach is featuring "A Walk in the Wood's" with work from Gulf Coast wood sculpting artists, Larry Manuel, Peter Von Glahn, and Mike Francis. Their extensive collection is a direct influence by the Gulf Coast, in landscape and wildlife. Each piece is hand-crafted out of various types of wood collected from all over the country. 

 

Visit the Coastal Arts Center to view the artists’ collections. The center is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and is closed on Saturday and Sunday. For more information or to schedule a class call 251-981-ARTS (2787). 

Driving Directions:

From AL & FL Beaches: Take Hwy 182/Perdido Beach Blvd to Highway 161/Orange Beach Blvd heading north. Turn right onto Hwy 180/Canal Road heading east. Drive 0.3 miles and the Arts Center will be on your left. You may enter at the gravel driveway or via Nancy Lane.

From Hwy 59 in Gulf Shores: Head east on Hwy 180/2nd Street along the Intracoastal Waterway. The Arts Center is 0.3 miles east of the intersection of Canal and Hwy 161.

From I-10 East and West: Take the Hwy 59 exit heading south; continue for approximately 18 miles then turn left onto Foley Beach Express ($2.75 toll). Turn left at the light onto Canal Road. Continue approximately 2.5 miles and the Arts Center is on your left
